At cccSkerries, we take your privacy seriously. This text contains information regarding data protection and how we use the data you give us.

What information do we collect from you?

When you sign a student up for a course at cccSkerries, we collect the details you fill in on the online registration form, including their name, the camp or class they are enrolling for, the class or year they are in in school, their year of birth, and the parent’s name, phone number, and email.

When you enquire about a class or camp, we collect the details you provide.

When you sign up for the cccSkerries email newsletter, we record your email address.

Why do we collect this information?

We collect this information to provide the right classes for the students, to let you know about classes, camps, and similar things, and to ensure we can contact you if anything comes up.

On what basis do we process this information?

You personal information is collected directly from you and processed by us with your knowledge and express consent.

You may withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal information at any time.

Sometimes, your personal information may be processed in accordance with cccSkerries’s legal obligations.

Who processes the information we hold?

For the purposes of our newsletter, your email is given to MailChimp. When you sign up using the online form, the data you input is sent to cccSkerries’ Google Drive.

How long do we keep hold of your information?

We retain financial records in accordance with the Revenue’s requirements. All other student-related information is deleted after 3 years after the end of a student’s last course with cccSkerries. For the email newsletter, your email address is retained until you ask to be unsubscribed.

Data Protection Officer

As we retain no sensitive information, cccSkerries does not require a Data Protection Officer.

Changes and Amendments to this Policy

cccSkerries reserves the right to amend this policy at any time, at its discretion. You are encouraged to review this policy from time to time. We will notify you of changes to this policy where we are required to do so.

[Note: if you withdraw consent, you may not be able to enrol a student in our classes. We will talk to you about the possible consequences of withdrawing consent, if and when you let us know that you are thinking of this. The withdrawal of consent will not undermine the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to the withdrawal]
