Mark your diaries: The first cccSkerries Hackathon, 25 April 2019

The last Thursday of the 2019 Easter Holidays, i.e. Thursday 25th April, is set to be a very special day: The day of the first ever cccSkerries One-Day Hackathon.

Open to all present, former, and possibly future cccSkerries participants… the only conditions:

  1. You must be born in this century and be of primary or secondary school age (1st class up to 6th Year).
  2. You must be able to spend the day from 9 a.m. to 7.30 p.m. with us (location to be decided).
  3. If you are under 16, you must bring a responsible adult. (Adults can share responsibilities for groups of up to 6 children as long as one of those children is their own).
  4. Bring a laptop (or prebook one of the cccSkerries ones).

So… What can you do in 12 hours?!? Amaze yourself and others! The topic will be announced at 9 a.m. sharp; you can use Scratch or Python or Tinkercad to build something around that topic. There will be spot prizes and a bring-and-share lunch and probably pizza & a presentation of results at 7 p.m.

Details and location to be confirmed. Interested? Click here!
