FDC Full-Day Camp for Secondary-School Students

Mon 12 to Fri 16 June, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Campers can arrive from 8 to 10 a.m.)

  • €250, laptop rental & use of our licenses included

After the first (or second) year in Secondary School, the summer stretches long ahead. Start it with something useful & fun – join Sabine at cccSkerries for five days of computer-based activities!

New – you asked, we answered: For this week only, we offer a full-day camp, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.!

Campers can arrive any time from 8 to 10 a.m. The first 90 minutes will be spent on our dedicated Minecraft Server – rediscover the adventure, or (for those new to it) discover what it’s like to play in the one world for 5 days!

The mornings are then dedicated to Coding for beginners & intermediate Scratchers. Create animations, games, or simulations!

After supervised lunch (bring a healthy sandwich, or salad, or whatever you like eating, eat it and then chill a bit) we’ll spend the afternoon exploring Computer Skills for School and Life. Presentations, Search, Image Editing, Computer Graphics, Study Resources… The exact content will be tailored to participants’ interests and needs, but will definitely comprise keyboard skills, search, and presentations.

Previous knowledge is not required for any part of the camp, but if you already know Minecraft / Scratch / parts of our Skills program, no problem – I’ll help you to take it to the next level.

Cost: €250 for 5 days from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This makes cccSkerries camps special:

Our other camps? €100 per camp, 10 to choose from. See cccSkerries.com/summer
