Facebook Pages for Clubs and Organisations

Facebook Pages are a great, inexpensive way of engaging with your members or audience.

  • Wed – date to be announced: An introduction to Facebook Pages. Are you thinking of setting up a Facebook Page for your sports club or local organisation? This two-hour class will get you started! All you need is a few photographs and some information you’d like to share. What is the difference between a personal profile and a page? What is the newsfeed, what is the wall? Who sees what I post? Who decides what I see? After this workshop, you will know the answer to these questions.
  • Wed – date to be announced: Getting most out of your Facebook Page. So you have a Facebook Page and have started publishing on it. What next? This two-hour class will help you take your Facebook Page to the next level. We will look at types of posts, how you can learn more about your audience from Facebook Insights, how to increase engagement, and whether or not to use Facebook Ads and / or Boosted Posts.

Ideally, participants will bring their laptops; however, we can provide laptops free of charge if required.
